Pousada Ponta da Pedra - Rules

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a comfortable, safe and pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you observe the operating rules of Pousada Ponta da Pedra. This regulation aims to preserve the well-being of all guests, the organisation of services and the conservation of the pousada’s facilities.

By completing the check-in process, the guest declares that they are aware of and agree to the rules described in this regulation.

  • Check-in time is from 2:00 pm and check-out must be completed by 12:00 pm (noon). Requests for early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
  • In accordance with Brazilian Tourism Law (Law No. 11.771/2008 and Decree No. 7.381/2010), it is mandatory at check-in to complete the National Guest Registration Form (FNRH) and present an original official photo identification document.
  • Access to the pousada’s facilities and apartments is permitted exclusively to guests duly registered at reception.
  • According to Articles 82 and 250 of the Brazilian Child and Adolescent Statute, accommodation of guests under 18 years of age without an accompanying adult is prohibited. Minors may only stay when accompanied by their parents or legal guardians, or when accompanied by an authorised adult with written authorisation signed by the legal guardian and notarised. Presentation of an official identification document for the minor is mandatory. The legal guardian is responsible for supervising the behaviour of the minor throughout the stay.
  • Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 10:00 am and afternoon tea is available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We kindly ask guests to respect these times to ensure the proper organisation of the service.
  • For daily housekeeping, we kindly request that the apartment key be left at reception by 12:00 pm. If the key is not delivered within this period, cleaning service may not be carried out on the same day.
  • Towels and bed linen are changed every two days.
  • The pousada does not provide towels for beach use.
  • Upon arrival in the apartment, we kindly ask guests to check the items in the minibar.
  • To ensure proper conservation of equipment and promote environmental sustainability, we recommend turning off the air conditioning when leaving the apartment and avoiding unnecessary waste of energy and water.
  • The electrical voltage in the apartments is 220 volts. We recommend checking the compatibility of your devices before use.
  • Pets up to 15 kg are welcome, provided they remain on a leash in common areas.
  • Pousada Ponta da Pedra is an environment that values rest and well-being. We kindly request respectful behaviour in common areas and respect for other guests and staff.
  • In order to provide all guests with a pleasant stay, we ask for maximum silence, respecting the right of other guests to rest. The use of sound devices is not permitted within the pousada premises. We also kindly request that conversations be kept in a low tone in all areas, including inside the apartments and corridors, at any time.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments or in the indoor areas of the pousada. Failure to comply with this rule may result in a cleaning fee being charged.
  • Documents and valuables of any kind should always be stored in the safe provided free of charge in the apartment. The pousada is not responsible for items left in common areas or outside the safe within the accommodation.
  • Guests are requested to take care of the apartment keys and equipment. In case of loss or damage, the following charges may apply: apartment key R$ 80.00 and safe control R$ 170.00.
  • Guests are responsible for the conservation of the facilities and equipment provided during their stay. Any damage to the pousada’s property must be reimbursed by the responsible guest according to management evaluation and the price list below:
  • Single sheet – R$ 200.00
  • Double sheet – R$ 250.00
  • Pillowcase – R$ 55.00
  • Bath towel – R$ 130.00
  • Face towel – R$ 50.00
  • Double mattress – R$ 2,100.00
  • Single mattress – R$ 1,500.00
  • TV – R$ 1,500.00
  • Chair – R$ 300.00
  • Table – R$ 600.00
  • Hair dryer – R$ 200.00
  • Bathroom mirror – R$ 250.00
  • Bedroom mirror – R$ 350.00
  • Minibar – R$ 900.00
  • Items found on the pousada premises will be kept for a maximum period of 30 days. After this period, the pousada may give the item the destination it considers appropriate. If a guest requests the shipment of a forgotten item, the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the requester.


The pousada reserves the right to request the vacation of the apartment in cases of:

  • failure to comply with these regulations
  • inappropriate behaviour
  • disturbance to other guests
  • engagement in illegal activities.

Situations not covered in this regulation will be analysed by the management of the pousada.
